Meszarosova went 2-0 in both singles and doubles, and won a pair of three-set singles matches, including the championship clincher on Sunday, to give the Jaguars their first Sun Belt Conference title since 2003. She defeated Eva Dench of Texas State in the quarterfinals 6-3, 0-6, 7-5 to send the Jaguars to the semifinals, then won 7-5, 3-6, 7-5 over Astrid Gehre of Texas-Arlington to send South Alabama to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2005. She teamed with Mary Angela Martin to help USA earn the doubles point in the semifinals and finals, defeating Louisiana-Monroe 6-1, and Texas-Arlington 8-5.
