Kotze claimed the discus at the Tiger Track Classic, setting school and Sun Belt Conference records in the event -- breaking the league mark set in 2005 -- after posting a 59.15m throw that currently is ninth best in the nation this year.  The junior also earned top-10 finishes in the shot put (seventh) and hammer throw (ninth), falling less than .1 meter shy of recording a personal best in the latter category as well.
