Williams averaged 25.5 points in two games last week, shooting 65.2 percent from the floor, 85.7 percent from 3-point land, and 78.9 percent from the free-throw line.  He scored 23 points at Texas State and had a career-best 28 points against Louisiana-Lafayette, rallying the team from a 15-point deficit in the first half and nine at halftimeto become the first USA player since 1988-89 to record 23 points or more in four straight games. Williams converted 9 of 14 from the floor at ULL and made three of his four 3-point attempts, in addition to tying his career high with seven rebounds, while he was perfect from behind the arc against Texas State, going 3-for-3, while hitting 6-for-9 overall and 8-for-9 from the charity stripe. With the effort the sophomore moved up to 10th in the Sun Belt averaging 14.7 points per game and third in 3-pointers per game (2.6).
