Shelter was instrumental in leading South Alabama a pair of wins over Southern Miss (95-61) and at Southern (69-38) last week, averaging 15.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while knocking down 50 percent of her shoots from the floor.  The Mobile, Ala., native was even better from beyond the arc, connecting on seven of her eight attempts from deep.  Her best outing of the young season came on Friday at Southern where she was 5-for-5 from three-point range and 4-for-4 from the charity stripe.  Early in the second half when SU attempted to rally, Shelter answered with a pair of treys to halt the comeback attempt.
