Allen scored a team-high 17 points in South Alabama’s 74-58 season-opening win over Detroit, making four of his five 3-point attempts while going 5 of 6 at the free throw line.  The four triples tied his career high, while Allen scored 11 of his 17 points in the first half in just 11 minutes of action; he also dished out one assist, did not commit a turnover and blocked a shot.  Allen also went 4 of 5 from 3-point land in the 2012-13 season opener, scoring 21 points in an upset of Florida State.
