Leitner picked up a pair of three-set victories at No. 1 at the MT Shootout over the weekend. In the Jaguars’ shutout of Troy in the first round, Leitner defeated Anas Rouchdi 7-5, 2-6, 6-1, while after
a loss to Ben Davis of eventual Shootout champs Middle Tennessee Leitner recorded his fourth win over a nationally-ranked opponent, topping No. 45 Cameron Silverman of No. 72 Elon 7-5, 3-6, 6-0. Leitner
is 4-1 against top 75 singles players this season, with all four wins coming against foes in the top 60.
