Rubit came up one rebound short of two double-doubles in South Alabama’s two Sun Belt wins last week, averaging 15.0 points and 9.5 rebounds in victories over Florida Atlantic and Florida International; he converted all eight attempts at the free throw line to increase his season average to 90.5 percent (tops in the conference).  The junior scored 19 points on 6 of 12 shooting at FIU and pulled down nine rebounds, with seven of those points came at the free throw line, then tallied a double-double at FAU with 11 points and 10 boards while adding two blocks.  He has moved into a tie for sixth in school history in career rebounds and 17th in career points.
