Waelter averaged 4.00 kills and a team-high 4.65 digs per set in two matches last week, registering a double-double in both outings; she now has a double-double in each of her last four matches and seven on the year.  Waelter began the week with a 16-kill, 19-dig performance at Troy on Thursday, finishing the match with a .353 hitting percentage, an ace and five total blocks (two solo and three assists).  Both the 19 digs and five blocks were new career-highs for Waelter.  On Sunday, Waelter followed that performance with her second double-double of the week with 16 kills and 18 digs in South Alabama’s 3-1 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette.  The win snapped ULL’s four-match win streak and gave USA its sixth conference victory of the season - tying the program mark for a single season.  The win improved South Alabama to 6-0 at Jag Gym this season - matching the best start for the program at home since the 1982 season.
