Garretson had the best finish of his career at the season-opening Sam Hall Intercollegiate, firing three straight sub-par scores for a 7-under-par 206 54-hole total to place second in a field of 87 individuals.  After opening with a 70, the sophomore recorded a career-low 4-under-par 67 in Monday's afternoon round before ending the tournament with a 2-under-par 69.  He led all players in par-three scoring at 4-under-par and tied for fifth with 13 birdies, leading the Jaguars to a third-place team finish in the field of 15 schools.
