Schwartz finished 13th in the women’s pentathlon at the 2012 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday in Nampa, Idaho, posting a score of 3,951 points, which was only 45 shy of the school- and conference-record 3,996 she collected on Feb. 25 at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships. The senior had a personal-best 8.59-second finish in the 60-meter hurdles for 997 points, nabbed 806 points on a 1.66m (5-05.50) effort in the high jump, her second-highest point accumulation of the competition that was slightly ahead of the 804 she got in the long jump (5.85m/19-02.50). Schwartz ended the meet with a 2:21.70 finish (801 points) in the 800 meters, just 0.38 seconds behind the indoor career-best 2:21.32 she also recorded at conference.
