Ammons scored 15 of his game-high 17 points after halftime to rally the Jaguars to a 66-61 win over Western Kentucky.  He had eight of USA’s final 18 points-including six straight-over the last 5:41 as the Jaguars ended the contest on an 18-5 run; in addition to converting a career-best 9 of 10 from the free throw line, Ammons had five of his eight rebounds on the offensive glass.  With the Jags down eight with 5:59 left in the game, Ammons scored USA’s next six points to start the rally and his last two points of the night with 2:56 left put South Alabama on top for good.
