Lloyd Meyers joined the University of South Alabama athletics staff in Aug. 2009 and was promoted to Director of Athletic Ticket Sales in August 2018 after serving as the Assistant Director for Marketing and Promotions.
In his new role, Meyers is responsible for implementing a ticket sales plan for all revenue generating sports including football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, and softball, increasing revenue generation through a consistent volume of calls and visits. He is also responsible for all group sales strategies.
Previously, he was responsible for assisting the director in promotions and marketing of all 17 sports at the university, and working with community service and events for the athletic department.
Meyers graduated from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Ga., with a bachelor's degree in business management. He has also received his master's degree in sports management from the University of South Alabama.
Before joining South Alabama, he worked with the Mobile Bay Bears, Double A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, as the Corporate Sales Manager, Director of Youth Programs and Event Coordinator for the stadium.
Meyers is married to Aimee Rivera Meyers, who is also a graduate of the University of South Alabama. The couple resides in Mobile, Alabama with their two children, Caroline and Landon.
