University of South Alabama Athletics

Brad Clay, MD is originally from Auburn, AL.  He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He went on to complete his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Florida while also covering Florida Gator athletics. Upon returning to Alabama, Clay completed a sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham. He has been team orthopedic surgeon for the University of South Alabama since 2019.
