Brandon Jaijairam

  • Title
    Assistant Coach

Brandon Jaijairam joined South Alabama Women's Basketball in July 2025.

Jaijairam came to Mobile after spending the 2024-25 season at Miami (Fla.), where he assisted in on-court duties, recruiting and video. During his time at The U, he assisted in the development of Haley Cavinder, who was a member of the All-ACC Second Team and an honoree for the USBWA's Ann Meyers Dysdale National Player of the Week.

Before Miami, Jaijairam was at USF, where he had a plethora of responsibilities. Throughout his six years with the Bulls, he worked as a student manager, graduate assistant, coordinator of basketball operations and video coordinator. Notably, Jaijairam was a part of the staff that led the Bulls to win the 2021 American Conference Championship. The Jags' head coach, Yolisha Jackson, was also a part of that staff.

"We are very excited to welcome Brandon and his family to our program," Coach Jackson said. "Coach B comes from two historically winning programs where he played a major role. I'm looking forward to him building great relationships with our players and within our community … I couldn't be happier to work alongside him again."

Jaijairam was born and raised in Hollywood, Fla., with roots in Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana. Before attending USF, he attended Chaminade-Madonna College Prep, where he was a four-year starter on the basketball team. In his time with the Lions, he guided the team to a district title and a regional appearance.

Jaijairam began his collegiate career at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pa., but transferred to USF. He graduated in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and, a year later, earned his master's degree in physical education.

Jaijairam resides in Spanish Fort with his wife, Bri, and their daughter, Arya.
