JUNIOR SEASON (2011): Started all 28 matches and competed in every set for South Alabama as a junior after moving from the middle blocker position to outside hitter…Had her best offensive season at USA, finishing third on the club in kills (232) and kills per set (2.34)…Also led the club in blocks solo (7), block assists (76) and blocks per set (0.84)…Led the team in blocks in 17 matches and kills three times…Recorded double-figure kill tallies in nine matches, including a career-best 18 versus Alabama State (9/9), where she also hit a season-best .518…Posted a hitting percentage of .300 or better 12 times, including seven of .400 or better…Named to both the Courtyard by Marriott /UCF Classic and Colonel Classic all-tournament squads…Was not only a force at the net, but also ranked fourth on the team in service aces with 22.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2010): Started 15 of the 29 matches in which she competed, playing in 98 sets…Recorded 180 kills and averaged 1.84 kps…Also had 31 total blocks — three solo and 28 assists…Had six double-figure kill matches, including a season-high 14 in South Alabama’s 3-2 victory at in-state rival Troy (10/15).
FRESHMAN SEASON (2009): Competed in all 30 matches for South Alabama as a freshman, starting 25 at the middle blocker position…Recorded 119 kills and averaged 1.43 kills per set…Ranked second on the club in total blocks (61) and block assists (55)…Led the team in solo blocks with six….Averaged 0.73 blocks per set…Had a season-high 11 kills in the championship match of the Lady Panther Invitational against Prairie View A&M (9/19)…Also had five block assists versus the Lady Panthers, helping her capture tournament MVP honors…Hit a season-best .714 (five kills, seven attacks and no errors) at the same tourney, in USA’s match against Arkansas-Pine Bluff…Best defensive outing at the net came against Nicholls State (9/12) at the Jaguar Classic, where she posted 10 total blocks (one block solo and nine block assists)…Named to both the Lady Panther Invitational and the Jaguar Classic all-tournament teams.
AT VANCLEAVE HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered three years in volleyball at Vancleave High School in Vancleave, Miss…Helped VHS to three district championships…As a senior, recorded 230 kills, 68 blocks, 47 service aces and 29 assists…Was recruited out of high school in both volleyball and basketball…Garnered South all-state honors and was selected to The Sun Herald All-Star team during her prep career…Also lettered three years in basketball and two years in softball for the Bulldogs…Averaged 15 points and 12 rebounds per game in basketball as a senior…Biggest prep career highlight was scoring 38 points and pulling down 15 rebounds in a game during her senior season…Played club ball for three years for Gulf Coast Select based in Niceville, Fla.
