Biography
High School: Johnson, a four-year letterwinner in volleyball at William Horlick High School in Racine, Wis., was named team captain during her senior season and was awarded the team's Most Valuable Player award... As a senior, she was selected to the all-conference First Team and led the club in blocks and kills... She was also named the most improved defensive player for RHS in 2005...Her best match of the season came against Oak Creek High School, where she recorded 35 kills in 56 attempts, while only committing three errors for a hitting percentage of .582... Against OCHS, she also had 14 blocks, two service aces, and 13 digs...Holds school record for most blocks and highest hitting percentage.
During her junior and sophomore campaigns, Johnson was an honorable mention all-county selection and led the club in blocks both seasons... She also lettered in basketball (three years) and softball (freshman year).
