2013: (Outdoor) Took fourth place in the javelin (38.12m) in her collegiate debut at the Jaguar Opener...Finished runner-up in the javelin throw (40.54m) at the Samford Invitational...Notched a third-place finish in the javelin (38.98m) at the Jaguar Invitational...Placed third in the javelin (39.85m) at the USA Invitational...Took fifth place in the javelin (37.52m) at the Coach "O" Invitational.
High School: Lettered five years in volleyball, four years in track & field, and two years in basketball...was state champion and AAU champion in javelin in 2012...holds school records for javelin, shotput, and discus.
Personal: Daughter of Reuben and Edna Petty...has one older brother...favorite book is the Bible...favorite type music is country...lists riding four-wheelers and spending time with family as hobbies.
