AT LINCOLN EAST HIGH SCHOOL
• Lettered four seasons in softball at Lincoln East High School in Lincoln, Neb.
• Helped the Spartans to four-straight district championships and state tournament appearances, and a state runner up finish in 2021
• Earned first-team all-state honors, was a super state selection, and a Nebraska high school all-star selection as a senior, while also earning athlete of the week honors
• Posted a 20-5 record and struck out 156 batters in her 122 innings of work, as a senior as Lincoln went 30-9
• Recorded a 2.42 earned run average, held batters to a .206 batting average and with runners in scoring position, limited the competition to a .192 average
• Her 156 strike outs were fourth-most in a season at Lincoln East
• Tossed six no-hitters during the 2023 season
• Also excelled at the plate during her senior season as she registered a .444 average, a 1.200 OPS, 48 hits, four home runs and nine doubles
• Tossed seven innings and hit two home runs in the district championship game in 2023
• Played first base exclusively as a junior and earned second-team all-state and first-team all-area honors
• Batted .429 with a 1.138 OPS, while recording 11 doubles and five home runs
• Also lettered two seasons in track
• Played travel ball for the Building Champions club team based out of Overland Park, Kan.
• Struck out 113 batters in 88 innings of work during the 2023 travel ball season, and struck out 230 batters in 180 innings in the circle during the summer of 2022
• Over the course of her high school and travel ball career, she compiled 696 strikeouts in 576 innings of work, and went 130-39 in the circle

• Daughter of Cory and Brooke Barnes
• Middle child of her family as she has an older brother, Eastyn and a younger brother McKoy
• Several members of her family have played collegiate sports; dad (baseball, Doane College), mom (volleyball, Barton CC, Missouri – Kansas City), while two aunts – Brandy (javelin) and Brynn (javelin) (both at Nebraska), and an uncle Scott, (hurdles) also competed in football (Nebraska Wesleyan), uncle Jeff (baseball, Doane College), uncle, Adam (golf, Brevard CC, Central Florida) caddie for Jon Rahm with Liv Golf/PGA Tour
grandfather competed in the javelin, discus, and the hammer throw, while also competing in football (Fort Hays State) and grandmother played basketball (Fort Hays State)
