Philippa Mackinlay is in her 19th season with the Jaguar women’s tennis program, combining her expertise in strength and conditioning, corrective exercise and injury prevention to enhance sports performance.
A 2003 graduate of South Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in sport and event marketing, Mackinlay went on to achieve her master’s degree in 2006 from USA in exercise physiology.
At the same time, she became certified by the NSCA as a certified strength and conditioning specialist. In 2010, Mackinlay became a Certified Rolfer through the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration and also became a Level 2 Fascial Stretch Therapist through Stretch to Win in 2012.
Her experience includes working with athletes from the National Football League, Major League Baseball, Professional Golfers’ Association of America, Association of Tennis Professionals and Women’s Tennis Association, as well as many elite junior tennis players.
