2008: Started all 20 games... recorded one goal and one assist at defender... attempted 23 shots and 16 shots on goal. 

2007: Anchored a solid back line that tallied six shutouts on the year...started in all 20 games and added one goal and three assists to the offensive side of the ball.

2006: Played in 14 games as a freshman, starting 13...recorded two assists in back-to-back games on Sept. 17 (Mississippi Valley State) and Sept. 22 (UALR)...tallied four shots with two on goal...was a strong defensive presence on the field.

Prep: Lettered in soccer for Upland High School in Upland, Calif., for three years...all-baseline league junior and senior year...Baseline League Undefeated Champions...C.I.F. Champions...national champions...biggest high school career highlight was winning the Division I C.I.F. Championship while going undefeated...played club soccer for the SASC Strikers for six years...2004-05 and 2005-06 league cup finalists...helped the Highlander advance to the 2006 National Cup Quarterfinals...also ran cross-country two years and track & field three years at UHS.

Personal: Full name is Samantha Lynn Slover...has an older sister and two younger sisters...favorite teams are New York Yankees and Anaheim Ducks...favorite athlete is Derek Jeter.
