Chris Rogers enters his thir season as a volunteer assistant coach for the University of South Alabama soccer program.
Before coming to USA, Rogers spent two seasons at Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School in Montgomery, Ala. In 2009, Rogers helped lead MCP to seven wins after posting a 1-11 finish the previous season.
While coaching at MCP, Rogers also coached club soccer for the Capitol City Streaks, who posted a 6-3 record and won the 2010 Hoover Havoc Silver Division Tournament. Rogers lettered three years in soccer at Huntingdon College before graduating with a B.A. in business administration.
He holds his United States Soccer Federation D and E licenses, NSCAA regional, advanced regional and state goalkeeping diplomas. Rogers is also member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
He is a native of Birmingham, Ala., and is a graduate of Spain Park High School, where he lettered four years for the Jaguars.
