Biography
After lettering three seasons for the Jaguar soccer program as a defender, senior Brianna Nelson will serve as a student assistant coach during her senior season in 2007. During her career at USA, Nelson competed in 36 games for the Jags, while starting 33 of them and served as a key part of the South Alabama defense. Nelson also served as team captain for two seasons at USA. A native of Howard, Ohio, Nelson attempted to battle back from a torn ACL last season, but just four games into her return, she injured her knee again, ending her playing career. During her prep career, Nelson was a two-year letterwinner at Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, Ohio. During that time, she also helped lead her club team, Ohio Premier to four straight state cup titles.
