Giovana Maymon joined the Jaguar women’s golf staff as a graduate assistant for the 2019-20 season after lettering four years at Baylor from 2014-18. Maymon helped lead the Bears to a national runner-up finish as a freshman in 2014-15, and won two of three matches at the NCAA Championship, including one in the national championship match. She was a two-time First-Team Academic All-Big 12 recipient, as well as a Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team honoree. Maymon was ranked in Golfweek’s top 10 in the class of 2014, and is a native of Huixquilucan, Mexico.
