Biography

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2013-14): Only Jag to start and play all 28 games…After missing all or most of the previous two seasons due to injury, bounced back and had a solid sophomore season…Played at both the guard and forward positions, averaging 29.6 minutes per game…Averaged 8.9 points and was second on the club with 4.3 rebounds per outing…Knocked down 70 of her 168 shot attempts for 41.7 percent shooting…Led the Sun Belt Conference from the arc with a 46.6  three-point percentage and 48.1 percent of those attempts in league play…Her 48 three-pointers were second-most on the club…Also ranked fourth in the conference with an 84.5 free-throw percentage and was tied for seventh in the league with 1.7 treys per game…Hit multiple three-pointers in 16 of her 28 games…Scored double figures on 10 occasions…Recorded a career-best 20 points vs. Georgia State (1/4) on 7-of-13 shooting, including 4-of-6 from the arc…Named College Madness Sun Belt Player of the Week on 1/6 after averaging 18.5 ppg and 7.0 rpg in USA’s first two league games…Posted a pair of 19-point outings during the season – at Colorado (11/29) and versus Louisiana-Monroe (1/18)…Came up big late against the Warhawks as she hit a trey with three minutes to go to put the Jags back out in front and then hit four free throws in the final 18.3 seconds to seal the win.

RED-SHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2012-13): After missing all of the 2011-12 season and the first 17 games of the 2012-13 season rehabbing a pair of knee injuries, she joined the active roster midway throught the season…Played in nine games for South Alabama…Pulled down 10 rebounds and recorded two assists, a steal, a point and a block in 48 minutes of action…Dressed out for the first time in her collegiate career vs. Louisiana-Monroe (1/16)…Made her collegiate debut off the bench versus Western Kentucky (1/23) with one rebound and one assist in one minute of action…Saw her most action versus Troy (2/6) where she had four rebounds in eight minutes of action…Recorded first career point on a free throw at Middle Tennessee (2/20)…Pulled down three rebounds in 11 minutes of action off the bench versus North Texas (2/23).

FRESHMAN SEASON (2011-12): Sat out the 2011-12 campaign while rehabbing from a knee injury suffered in the spring of her senior year in high school…Returned to practice the final month of the season...Named to the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List.

AT WESTSIDE HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner at Westside High School in Houston, Texas, for head coach Troy Gillespie…Was named first-team all-district after averaging 14.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.1 steals per game as a senior and helping lead WHS to a second-place finish in its conference with a 26-11 record…Was selected to participate in the Greater Houston Area All-Star Game in the spring of her senior year where she recorded nine points…Also an excellent student-athlete, as she was a 2010-11 Houston ISD (Independent School District) first-team all-academic selection…Played in just six games for the Wolves during her junior campaign before missing the rest of the season due to a knee injury…Earned third-team all-district honors during her sophomore season after averaging 10.0 ppg…Also lettered two seasons in volleyball at Westside…Played AAU ball two years for the Texas Blazers…Chose USA over Tulsa, Houston, Howard, Nicholls State and Wichita State.
