JUNIOR SEASON (2012-13): Played in South Alabama’s first 10 games before suffering a knee injury in practice prior to the Central Florida game…Averaged 4.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game prior to the inury…Also had five blocks and three steals…Hit six of her 18 attempts from the arc…Posted eight points off the bench on 4-of-5 shooting in the Jags’ season-opener at Houston Baptist (11/9)…Hit two big three-pointers during a late second-half run vs. Tennessee State (11/12)…Had a season-high nine points versus Sam Houston State (12/8).
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2011-12): Saw time in 11 games before suffering a season-ending knee injury in practice on Dec. 19 prior to South Alabama’s road game at Sam Houtson State…Averaged 7.7 points and 4.5 rebounds per outing in 14.1 minutes of action off the bench…Led USA in rebounding twice…Had five rebounds or more off the bench six times…Shot 40.2 percent from the field and 71.4 percent from the foul line…Prior to the injury, led the team in blocks (10) and was third on the team in scoring…Came off the bench to post a career-best 20 points in 23 minutes of action vs. Utah (Nov. 26)…Was 7-of-15 and 3-of-7 from the arc against the Utes…Recorded 15 of her 20 points in the second half vs. the Utes…Named to the UTSA Thanksgiving Classic all-tournament team…Had at least one block in nine of the 11 games in which she played…Had career-high nine rebounds vs. Talladega (Dec. 10)…Had 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting at Tennessee State (Dec. 3), while also pulling down seven rebounds...Named to the Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll.
AT INDEPENDENCE (KAN.) COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Lettered one season at Independence Community College in Independence, Kan., for head coach for Tony Turner…In her one season with the Lady Pirates, she was instrumental in helping the team record a 30-3 mark and capture a 23rd ranking in the final NJCAA poll…ICC also ended the regular season with a 16-2 league record to tie for the Jayhawk Conference Eastern Division crown…Earned Region VI all-tournament honors after helping ICC advance to the regional semifinals…Averaged 14.3 points per game – third in the conference – while also pulling down 7.1 rebounds as a freshman…Led the club in scoring 15 times and recorded nine double-doubles…Averaged 1.59 blocks per outing – seventh-best in the league – and connected on 45.3 percent of her attempts from the floor…Knocked down 35 three-pointers…Best outing of the year came in the season finale where she posted 25 points and four blocks vs. Hutchinson…Earned second-team all-region honors and first team all-conference accolades…Selected the Jags after receiving offers from Missouri and Memphis.
AT EDISON PREP HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner at Edison Prep High School in Tulsa, Okla…Earned all-region honors as a freshman, sophomore and junior…Selected to the Oklahoma Girl’s Basketball (OGBC) All-Star game as a senior…Also lettered one season in track and field…Played AAU ball for Basket of Dreams Association in Tulsa, Okla.
