Eryc Pittman

Eryc Pittman enters his first season as an assistant coach under first year coach Yolisha Jackson. 
 
Pittman comes to Mobile after two seasons at Austin Peay, where he held the same position. During his time at Austin Peay, Pittman helped coach the Governors to a 37-25 record in two seasons, including a trip to the Women’s Basketball Invitational in 2022.
 
Before Austin Peay, Pittman spent six seasons at Jacksonville State under former Jaguar coach Rick Pietri, where he coordinated scouting reports and recruiting. During his stint with the Gamecocks, he worked with the perimeter players, who averaged 6.1 three-pointers a game. In the 2020-21 season, Pittman coached All-OVC selection Yamia Johnson, who led the OVC in three-point percentage (39.4%).
 
Before his stint at Jacksonville State, Pittman spent one year at Brewton-Parker College as the men’s basketball associate head coach, where he helped lead the program to a 14-14 record, which was the program’s most wins since 2006.
 
During the 2013-14 season, Pittman was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the women’s basketball program at Belmont Abbey College, where the team posted a 22-9 record and their first NCAA DII Tournament win in 15 years.
 
Pittman’s first coaching stop was with the men’s basketball program at Eastern Kentucky, where he worked as a GA from 2011 to 2013.
 
Pittman, a native of Akron, Ohio, co-founded “Ladies First”, a non-profit organization in Akron that focuses on girls’ youth basketball and helps them succeed in academics too.
 
Pittman graduated from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and earned an M.S. in Sports Administration from EKU.
