High School: Five-year letterwinner in soccer and tennis and lettered one year in cross country at Petal High School in the Mississippi town of the same name...Gililand led Petal High School to a 13-5-4 record in 2012, the then-senior helping her squad to a Region 5-6A title, making it to the second round of the Mississippi state playoffs. The team’s leader in assists, she scored a goal and added a helper in Petal’s first-ever win over Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, Miss.)...During her prep career, her outfit won one district title and twice finished runner-up, qualifying for the playoffs two years...Gilliland was selected to play in the 2013 Baptist Rehab All-Star game after scoring 30 goals and carding nine assists her senior year
