Biography

2013: (Outdoor) Finished third in the mile run (4:42.73) at the Jaguar Opener...Placed eighth in the 1,500-meter run (4:14.75) at the Samford Invitational...Finished fifth in the 1,500-meter run (4:12.14) at the USA Invitational...Placed 15th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:51.36) at the SBC Championships.

2013: (Indoor) Ran the third leg for the third-place 4,000-meter distance medley team and placed 12th in the 3,000-meter run at the Arkansas State Invitational.

2012: (Outdoor) Finished seventh in the men's 5,000 meters at the Louisiana Classics...Took eighth in the 5,000 meters at the FSU Relays...Runner-up in the 3,000 meters at the Jaguar Invite...Ran a 9:29.84 3,000-meter steeple for sixth at Auburn's Tiger Track Classic...Finished the USA Invitational 1,500 meters third...Finished fourth in the 3,000-meter steeple at Troy's Coach "O" Invitational...Recorded eight-place finishes in both the 3,000-meter steeplechase and 5,000-meter run at the Sun Belt Conference Championships.

2012: (Indoor) Part of the fifth-place men's 4x400-meter relay team at the MTSU Invitational...finished ninth in the 5,000 meters and 10th in the 3,000 meters at the Sun Belt Conference Championships.

2011 (XC): Notched a 20th-place collegiate finish at the Troy Invitational (5k) in...finished 22nd at the Choctaw Open...finished 52nd at the conference championships....finished 131st at the NCAA South Regionals.

High School: Westbrook was the 2011 3,200-meter state champion and the 2010 Cross Country state runner-up. He was a six-time track district champion, four –time regional track champion, 2010 3,200-meter South State champion, two-time cross-country district champion and he also earned the honor of being selected to the 2010 cross country U.S. Silver Elite Team. Westbrook will be the recipient of the USA Presidential Scholarship.
