2010-11: 0-11 overall record, 0-10 in dual matches… 0-9 at No. 3, 0-1 at No. 4… 5-6 record in doubles with five different partners… Teamed with Hanno Bartsch to defeat Michael Thompson and Carlos Taborga of Alabama 8-6 in round of 32 at USTA/ITA Southern Regional Championships… Won three matches at No. 1 when paired with Romain Bocaert and Alexandre Bernard. 

2009-10: 9-14 overall record, 6-11 in dual matches… 3-7 at No. 3, 1-1 at No. 4, 2-2 at No. 5 and 0-1 at No. 6… All wins came in straight sets, including No. 24 Arizona’s Borja Malo 7-6 (7-3), 6-0… Paired with Romain Bocaert primarily at the No. 2 spot to post 6-3 mark overall, the squad’s second best record… Won the last seven doubles matches of the season with Bocaert and Alexandre Bernard, besting duos from No. 70 Illinois State and No. 68 Troy.

Pre-South Alabama: Attended the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif. … Named to Honorable Mention All-Big West Conference Doubles Team… Team won the BWC regular-season championship and finished the season ranked No. 67 in the nation.

High School: Graduate of Nikolaus von Kues Gymnasium in Bermkastel-Kues, Germany… Also played with club team Su Bous.

Personal: Born July 30, 1989 in Morbach, Germany… Son of Dr. Tobias and Susanne Kuehne… Majoring in leisure studies… Hobbies include snowboarding and basketball… Favorite movies are Snatch and Lucky Number Slevin… Favorite pro teams are Borussia Dortmund (soccer) and the Dallas Mavericks… Listens to Rise Against and Taking Back Sunday… Would like to work in sports marketing after graduating.
