Avery Reed is the Owner/Master Club Fitter at Fairhope Golf Works and has over 20 years’ experience fitting and building golf clubs for the best golfers in the world. Avery has spent his career traveling with players on the PGA TOUR, European Tour and LPGA Tour, fitting and building golf equipment for them every week. Many of the players Avery has worked with are top 50 in the world and won several majors and tour events using equipment fit and built by him.

Avery began his career as the Master Fitter at the “Kingdom” located at TaylorMade headquarters in Carlsbad, California. He then became a Tour Representative for TaylorMade working with staff players on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, Champions Tour and LPGA Tour. After leaving TaylorMade, Avery became the Manager/Master Fitter for the PGA Tour at TPC Sawgrass. Avery oversaw all the custom fitting at TPC Sawgrass and serviced the needs of the 45 tour players that lived in the area. Most recently, Avery has spent the last 10 years working as the Tour Manager for Mitsubishi Chemical shaft company. Over the past decade Avery has been traveling and fitting players on the PGA Tour, European Tour, Korn Ferry Tour and LPGA Tour. He also had a major role in shaft development and helped develop some of the most played shafts on tour, including: Tensei, MMT and Kaili.

Avery now brings his fitting expertise and knowledge to Fairhope Golf Works and South Alabama Men's Golf to create the same tour experience for golfers of all abilities.
