Jaguar Highlights: A preseason first-team all-Sun Belt Conference selection at tight end by Phil Steele Publications and Athlon Sports ... Listed as the starter at tight end on the preseason depth chart ... Caught a 28-yard pass in the first scrimmage of the spring ... Also had one reception for the Red team in its victory over the Blue in the Jags’ annual spring contest.

As A Junior (2013): Named first-team all-Sun Belt Conference ... Also a first-team all-league selection by Phil Steele Publications and College Sports Madness ... Started all 12 games, tying for the team lead with 50 catches while recording 635 yards — both figures were career-high totals ... Tied for fifth in the conference in receptions per contest and was eighth in receiving yards per outing ... Ranked among the top five tight ends nationally in both categories ... Was fourth on the team in all-purpose yards ... One of three players on the team to record 10 or more gains of 20-plus yards ... Collected a career-best 10 catches for 89 yards at Texas State ... Finished with career-high 95 yards on six receptions in game at Troy ... Led Jaguar tight ends with 26 receptions, ranking fifth on the team overall … Was also fourth on the team in receiving yards with 336 … All but nine of his catches came against Sun Belt opponents, as he stood fourth on the team in receptions in league games … Third offensively with five catches for 20-plus yards ... Posted career-high seven receptions — tying for the most by a Jaguar all year — in league finale at Louisiana-Lafayette, leading USA with 83 receiving yards in the game as well … Had career-best 92 yards receiving on six catches against Florida International, leading the Jags in both categories ... Paced the team with 72 yards on four receptions at North Carolina State ... Collected first career score on three-yard reception in the fourth quarter of season-ending contest at Hawai’i, finishing with three catches for 27 yards ... Recorded three receptions for 38 yards at North Texas.

Junior College Highlights (2011): In his only season at Itawamba (Miss.) CC, caught 10 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown to earn second-team Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) all-state honors.

High School Highlights: In his only season at Hueytown High, helped the Golden Gophers to the quarterfinals of the state 5A playoffs en route to a 10-2 finish.
