As A Redshirt Freshman (2009): Appeared in every contest, with his first collegiate start coming against Army Prep in the program’s second game ... Ranked second on the team with 350 yards on 49 carries — an average of more than seven yards per attempt — as well as with four rushing touchdowns ... Caught three passes for 17 yards and a score, adding three kick returns for 93 yards ... Tied for third on the team in scoring with 30 points and was fourth in total offense ... Also third on the squad with 460 all-purpose yards ... Closed out the season with three touchdowns — two on the ground, one on a one-yard reception — and 93 yards on 11 carries against Huntingdon (Ala.) College ... High School Highlights: Earned a total of 13 letters in football (four), basketball (four) and track (five) at Florida State University HS ... Part of a senior class that recorded the most victories (33) in school history in a four-year period ... Also helped the Seminoles to a 12-game win streak in the same season for the first time ever ... Played in the Florida North-South All-Star Game after his senior campaign ... Ended his career with more than 3,000 yards rushing as Florida State High qualified for postseason play in all four of his seasons with the varsity ...
