Jaguar Highlights: Moved to linebacker prior to the start of spring practice ... Expected to start at the “Stinger” position in his final season as a Jaguar ... Named preseason third-team all-Sun Belt Conference by Athlon Sports ... Was a team captain for the Red in the annual spring game, finishing with an assist behind the line of scrimmage in the team’s 14-point victory ... Three of four stops in the second spring scrimmage were of the solo variety.

As A Junior (2015): A second-team all-Sun Belt Conference selection ... Was also selected second-team all-league by Phil Steele Publications ... Started all 12 contests at safety, finishing fourth on the team with 67 total tackles and tied for the lead with a pair of interceptions … Was ½ stop shy of tying a career high with three tackles for loss … Set a career high with 11 tackles at Nebraska to lead the Jaguars in the category, adding a quarterback hurry … Matched that total against league-leading Arkansas State … Collected nine stops with one for loss against North Carolina State … Also posted nine tackles in season-opening victory over Gardner-Webb, earning the coaches’ award ... Posted a career-best nine stops on three occasions, including each of the Jaguars’ last two outings against Navy and Bowling Green at the Raycom Media Camellia Bowl ... Recorded three tackles for loss in those two contests, with two coming against the Midshipmen, and also broke up a pass against the Falcons ... As A Freshman (2013): Saw action in all 12 contests, making three starts at strong safety, his first year at the collegiate level ... Finished with 35 total tackles, three passes broken up and an interception ... Came off the bench to record five unassisted stops and a fourth-quarter interception that led to a field-goal and an eight-point lead in 41-39 win at Tulane ... Credited with four tackles — all solo — in first career start, a victory over Western Kentucky ... High School Highlights: Earned two stars from Rivals.com after starting all four years at Daleville High in a program that won 29 games and qualified for postseason action on three occasions … Helped the Warhawks finish the 2012 regular season 9-0, winning the region championship and advancing to the state 3A playoffs … Selected first-team all-state by the Alabama Sports Writers Association and was voted the team’s most valuable player after posting 68 tackles, a total that included 18 stops for loss and seven sacks ... Forced eight fumbles, returned three fumbles for touchdowns and blocked three punts as well while also being named to the Daleville Sun-Courier “Elite 11” team ... On offense, recorded 23 catches for 533 yards and five touchdowns while rushing 18 times for 244 more yards and three scores ...
