Jaguar Highlights: Will likely begin the season as the Jaguars’ starting tight end ... Had three receptions for 40 yards in the annual spring game.

As A Sophomore (2018): Played in each of the last 11 outings of the year with starts in five games ... Caught five passes for 67 yards on the year, adding three kickoff returns for 23 yards at Arkansas State as well ... Had a 26-yard reception with the Jaguars facing fourth-and-two in the fourth quarter of come-from-behind win over Texas State, keeping a drive alive that would eventually net the first three of 18 unanswered points over the final 15 minutes of the contest ... Recorded catches in all three of South’s games in October, picking up 20 yards in a defeat of Alabama State and 16 yards against Troy in the annual “Battle For The Belt” ... Final reception of the season came in Jags’ Homecoming match-up with ULM.

As A Redshirt Freshman (2017): Appeared in four contests ... Made his collegiate debut in victory over Alabama A&M ... Saw action in back-to-back wins over Troy in the “Battle For The Belt” and ULM on Homecoming weekend ... Also played in Senior Day defeat of Arkansas State.

Helped the Raiders go undefeated in district play as a senior, as the would finish 8-4 after advancing to the semifinals of the state 4A playoffs ... Part of a SFHS team that finished 7-3 his junior year ... A four-year letterwinner in basketball for the Raiders, his high school highlight was converting a slam dunk at the buzzer to hand the city champions their first loss of the season ... When he was a senior SFHS won its first-round state 5A playoff match-up to advance to the regional semifinals ... Helped the Raiders qualify for the state 4A tournament his sophomore and junior years, with the team reaching the regional finals in 2014 ... Finished fifth in the shot put at the state 2A outdoor track meet as a senior as well, posting a mark of 52 feet, 9½ inches.
