Jaguar Highlights: Slated to start at center for the second year in a row ... Selected by Phil Steele Publications preseason first-team all-Sun Belt Conference, and is a preseason second-team all-SBC choice by Athlon Sports ... Was the member of the offensive unit chosen by the coaching staff to receive the “I Like To Practice” award following spring drills ... Anchored the offensive line for the Blue team in USA’s annual spring game, helping the unit record 348 yards on 53 plays.

As A Sophomore (2014): One of two lineman to start all 13 contests ... One of just two individuals up front to earn the coaches’ offensive line award on multiple occasions, picking up honors after wins over Idaho and Troy ... Received a grade of 80 percent or better six times while earning the highest mark on the squad on five occasions ... Recorded a total of 20 knockdown blocks ... Had season-best 88 percent mark in victory over Troy ... Earned mark of 87 percent against Bowling Green at the Raycom Media Camellia Bowl and a team-leading 83 percent grade at South Carolina ... Also graded out at 83 percent in Appalachian State win, recording a season-high five pancake blocks ... Posted a grade of 81 percent to lead the team against Mississippi State in the Jaguars’ home opener ... Credited with an 80 percent grade in win over Texas State that made the team eligible to participate in a postseason bowl game.

As A Redshirt Freshman (2013): Played in 10 games, posting 15 knockdown blocks on 57 snaps ... Received a perfect grade on five occasions, including after seeing action on eight plays in season-ending win over Sun Belt Conference co-champion Louisiana-Lafayette ... Graded out at 88 percent following victory at Georgia State ... Posted three knockdowns on five snaps in collegiate debut against Southern Utah, while the following week was credited with a season-best four in five plays in Tulane win ... Made the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List.

As A Freshman (2012): Sat out as a redshirt in the fall ... Named the coaches’ offensive scout team award winner after the Jaguars defeated Nicholls State ... A member of the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List.

High School Highlights: Earned three stars from Rivals.com and ESPN.com, and two from Scout.com ... The top-rated center in Georgia, was ranked 12th among all centers in the country by ESPN.com ... Played in the Semper Fi Bowl All-Star Game in Phoenix, Ariz., after his high school career ended ... Lettered for four years, starting three, at North Oconee HS, where he set the school’s all-time record for pancake blocks ... Helped the Titans advance to the second round of the state AA playoffs en route to a 11-1 finish as a senior ... NOHS won the region championship with a 6-0 mark as well his final season, as he would be named first-team AA all-state by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Athens Banner-Herald, Georgia Athletic Coaches Association and Georgia Sports Writers Association ... Was also selected the team’s most valuable player ... Helped lead the Titans to a 9-2 finish as they qualified for the state playoffs his junior year, while NOHS finished 9-3 and won its first-round postseason game his first season with the varsity ...
