As A Freshman (2016): Recorded a pair of assisted tackles on special teams in the Jaguars’ season-opening victory at Mississippi State, but was injured in the contest and missed the rest of the year.

High School Highlights: Earned three stars from both Scout.com and 247Sports.com, and was a two-star recruit according to Rivals.com ... Scout.com rated him among the top 15 inside linebackers in Georgia and the top 35 in the South ... Ranked by 247Sports.com among the top 35 inside linebackers in the country as well as the top 75 overall in the state ... Lettered two years at Wayne County High, helping the Yellow Jackets qualify for the state AAAA playoffs both seasons ... Earned first-team all-state honors from the Georgia Sports Writers Association his senior year and was a second-team all-state selection by the organization the previous season ...
