Jaguar Highlights: Should be the Jags’ starting tight end in the fall ... Ranked fifth on preseason list of college football tight ends to watch by NFL.com ... A member of the John Mackey Award Preseason Watch List ... Named preseason first-team all-Sun Belt Conference by Athlon Sports and ESPN The Magazine ... Had a team-high four catches for 53 yards to help the Red to a two-touchdown win in the annual spring game, scoring the first points of the day with a five-yard touchdown reception less than three minutes into play ... Was a team captain for the Red ... Caught two balls for a team-leading 37 yards in second scrimmage of the spring, with the second a 12-yard scoring play ... Also led the Jaguars with four receptions for 57 yards in the first spring scrimmage.

As A Junior (2015): Was chosen first-team all-Sun Belt Conference and named to the league’s All-Newcomer Team after leading the Jaguars in receptions (41), receiving yards (575), touchdown catches (eight) and total touchdowns scored (12) ... Named first-team all-conference by Phil Steele Publications as well ... Ended the campaign ranked sixth nationally among tight ends in receiving yards per game and tied for 11th at the position in the country in catches per contest ... Tied the school record for touchdown catches in a season, also ranking among the top 10 in program history for receptions and receiving yards in a year … Scored a touchdown in seven straight games from Sept. 19-Nov. 12, the second-longest streak in program history and the longest since moving to the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision ... Earned the coaches’ weekly tight end award following each of the Jags’ five wins, and was presented the “War Daddy” award after defeat of eventual Mountain West Conference champion San Diego State ... Alabama-Birmingham Highlights (2014): In his only season at UAB, caught 17 passes for 292 yards and a score while playing in all 12 games with one start ... In his lone start for the Blazers, posted career high with eight receptions for 93 yards against Conference USA West Division champion Louisiana Tech ... Had career-best 94 yards on three catches in win over Alabama A&M, following up with two receptions for 64 yards including a touchdown against Florida International.

Junior College Highlights (2012-13): Attended Hutchinson (Kan.) CC after signing with Bethune-Cookman.
