Jaguar Highlights: Was injured during spring drills and did not participate in the Red-Blue Game.

As A Junior (2012): Saw action in every contest, playing both on special teams and in the secondary ... Recorded a career-high seven total tackles, also breaking up one pass ... Posted career-best two stops — both unassisted — against nationally-ranked Mississippi State ... Also had solo tackles at Arkansas State and Louisiana-Monroe, both postseason bowl participants ... Credited with an assist and a pass defensed in USA’s three-point, double-overtime Homecoming victory over Florida Atlantic.

As A Sophomore (2011): Took part in six games, including each of the first four.

As A Redshirt Freshman (2010): Played in seven of the team’s 10 contests, including making appearances in back-to-back victories over Lamar and UC Davis.

As A Freshman (2009): Made five appearances in the Jaguars’ inaugural season, earning the first start of his career against Milford (N.Y.) Academy ... Credited with two solo stops, and was one of four players on the team to post multiple interceptions ... Had a tackle and an interception in the Milford contest ... Also picked off a pass in his collegiate debut against Army Prep ... Made a stop in win over Fork Union (Va.) Military Academy as well.

High School Highlights: A three-year letterwinner at Cypress Bay High ... Recorded 65 total tackles and intercepted four passes his last season to help the Lightning to a 10-2 mark, a win in the first round of the state 6A playoffs and the district title ... Also picked up 180 yards in punt returns ... CBHS was 9-2, earning a 21-0 victory in the opening round of the state playoffs, his junior season ... Lettered in baseball for two seasons as well ... As a senior, batted .404 with four home runs, 18 stolen bases and a school season-record 41 runs scored ... Efforts helped the Lightning go 23-7 while winning their opening-round game in the state tournament.
