Jaguar Highlights: Named preseason second-team all-Sun Belt Conference by Phil Steele Publications and Athlon Sports ... Enters the preseason as the starter at left guard ... Received the “I Like To Practice” award at the end of spring practice ... Helped the Red squad gain 241 yards rushing and 405 overall in a 38-point win in the program’s annual spring game.

As A Junior (2013): Started all 12 contests ... Earned an 82 percent mark for the season, compiling 36 knockdown blocks ... Graded out at 90 percent following win over Western Kentucky to earn weekly coaches’ award ... Had season-high mark of 91 percent in Kent State Homecoming victory ... Posted season-best eight knockdowns at Navy ... Recorded an 85 percent mark and five knockdown blocks in season-opening contest against Southern Utah ... Credited with mark of 84 percent following match-ups with Tulane, Troy and Sun Belt Conference co-champion Arkansas State ... Received an 83 percent grade after collecting five knockdowns in win at Georgia State.

As A Sophomore (2012): Saw action in every game, making six starts ... Earned the coaches’ award on the offensive line after the Jaguars’ double-overtime win over Florida Atlantic.

As A Redshirt Freshman (2011): Competed in all 10 games, both on the line and as part of the field goal/PAT unit ... Was on field for a season-high 36 snaps in Henderson (Ark.) State victory, grading out at 80 percent ... Had season bests with 85 percent mark and three knockdown blocks the following week in win over Mississippi Valley State ... Also graded out at better than 70 percent in wins over West Alabama (75%), Texas-San Antonio (75%) and Tennessee-Martin (72%) ... Had season-high three pancakes in season-opening UWA victory and the next week in win over Lamar as well ... Received perfect score after playing three snaps at Georgia State ... High School Highlights: A three-year letterwinner and two-year starter at Vestavia Hills HS ... Ranked seventh among offensive guards in Alabama by Scouts, Inc. ... Played in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic, helping the Alabama team to a 21-13 victory after the conclusion of his high school career ... Efforts helped the Rebels finish 9-2 while qualifying for the state 6A playoffs his senior year ... Was selected first-team all-state, all-metro and all-region in 2009 ... Part of a VHHS squad that went 7-4 and participated in the state playoffs his junior season ... As a sophomore, helped the Rebels go 12-2 on their way to a berth in the semifinals of the state playoffs ...
