Jaguar Highlights: Should start at the “Rover” safety slot in the fall ... Recorded eight total tackles in the opening scrimmage of the spring ... Served as one of four team captains for the Blue squad in the annual spring contest.

As A Junior (2015): Earned 10 starts while seeing action in every game ... Finished the season with a career-best 57 tackles ... Forced three fumbles and recovered two others, running those back for 119 yards and a pair of touchdowns ... Credited with 1½ stops behind the line and a pass defensed as well ... Recorded a career-high nine tackles and ran back a fumble 57 yards for a score — the third of four straight unanswered touchdowns as the Jaguars came back from a 24-0 deficit — in Homecoming victory over Idaho ... Was given the coaches’ weekly defensive back award for the performance ... Also earned the honor following USA’s win at Troy ... Collected eight stops, with one for a loss of four yards, in season-opening win over Gardner-Webb ... Made five stops at Nebraska, adding six the following week while forcing two fumbles in win over eventual Mountain West Conference champion San Diego State ... In first career start at South Carolina, recorded six stops — with five of those unassisted — as well as his first two takeaways as a Jaguar with an interception and a fumble recovery to end back-to-back second-quarter Gamecock possessions ... Earned the coaches’ weekly linebacker award after collecting four stops including an assist for loss in victory over Georgia State ... Credited with five tackles the following week in a win over Troy ... Only stop in Texas State victory — which made the Jaguars eligible to participate in a postseason bowl — was his first solo tackle behind the line ... First career pass broken up came in regular-season finale against Navy ... Finished with two tackles in season-opening win at Kent State as well as at Arkansas State.
