Biography

As A Junior (2014): Played in two of the Jaguars’ first four outings of the season ... Recorded an unassisted tackle in each appearance, against Mississippi State in USA’s home opener and a victory at Idaho ... Suffered a season-ending injury in that contest with the Vandals.

As A Sophomore (2013): Credited with two tackles while playing in three contests ... Had a solo stop in win over Louisiana-Monroe, while first tackle of the year came the previous week at Navy.

As A Redshirt Freshman (2012): Appeared in each of the last six games, primarily on special teams coverage units ... Credited with an assisted tackle against Florida International.

As A Freshman (2011): Sat out the season as a redshirt ... Twice earned the scout team coaches’ award on defense following USA’s games at North Carolina State and against Tennessee-Martin ... Was the scout special teams award winner the week of the Kent State contest as well.

High School Highlights: Was a three-year letterwinner and starter at Pensacola HS ... Ranked among the top 25 outside linebackers in Florida by ESPN.com ... Received two stars from Scout.com ... Team finished 12-1 overall in 2010, advancing to the quarterfinals of the state 3A playoffs... Tigers were 7-0 in district play to earn the title ... Named first-team all-district by the state’s coaches association ... Credited with 114 total tackles, nine stops behind the line of scrimmage including two sacks, two passes broken up and an interception his senior year, scoring a touchdown on defense ... PHS won the state championship and was 14-1 overall his junior season … Earned all-state honors and was first-team all-area by the Pensacola News-Journal after blocking five kicks that fall; that included blocking a punt and a PAT attempt in 7-6 win over Jackson High in the second round of the playoffs ...
