Jaguar Highlights: Once again expected to start at right tackle entering his final season ... Named preseason first-team all-Sun Belt Conference by Athlon Sports and is a Phil Steele Publications preseason second-team all-league selection ... Was one of three captains for the victorious Red team in the Jaguars’ annual spring game, helping the offense post 238 yards through the air, 317 overall and an average of 7.2 yards per play.

As A Junior (2014): Earned honorable mention all-Sun Belt Conference accolades ... Was a third-team all-league selection according to Phil Steele Publications as well ... Was one of two members of the Jaguar offensive line to start all 13 contests ... Earned the coaches’ offensive line award after win over Georgia State ... Graded out at 80 percent or higher on six occasions, finishing with 33 total knockdown blocks ... Received an 84 percent mark and posted a season-best 11 of the Jags’ 18 pancake blocks in victory over Texas State that helped make the program eligible to compete in a postseason bowl ... Earned a season-high grade of 85 percent at the Raycom Media Camellia Bowl against Bowling Green ... Finished with five knockdowns and an 81 percent grade in defeat of Troy ... Also had an 81 percent mark at South Carolina ... Graded out at 82 percent in back-to-back wins over Appalachian State and Georgia State ... As A Sophomore (2013): A first-team all-Sun Belt Conference selection ... Selected second-team all-conference by both Phil Steele Publications and College Sports Madness ... Led the team with 65 knockdown blocks and was second with an 87 percent overall grade after starting all 12 contests at right tackle … Was on the field for 931 snaps including field-goal and extra-point attempts … Allowed only one sack on USA’s 394 pass plays … Graded out at better than 90 percent against Kent State, Georgia State, Navy and SBC co-champion Louisiana-Lafayette, earning a season-best 93 percent mark against the Midshipmen … Credited with season-high nine knockdowns in win over Louisiana-Monroe, adding eight against Navy and seven in win at Tulane … Earned 88 percent mark following victory over Louisiana-Monroe as well as after game at Troy … Received grade of 86 percent after Texas State and Arkansas State contests … Earned the coaches’ game award following USA’s wins over Kent State, ULM, Georgia State and ULL.

As A Redshirt Freshman (2012): Appeared in all 13 games, starting the final seven at left tackle ... Selected by the Sun Belt Conference’s beat writers to the league’s All-Freshman Team ... Earned the coaches’ award on the offensive line a season-high-tying three times after being honored following contests against Louisiana-Monroe, Florida International and Louisiana-Lafayette.

As A Freshman (2011): Sat out the season while redshirting.

High School Highlights: Lettered all four years at Deshler High ... Was named all-state and all-area as a senior after helping the Tigers to a 12-2 finish as they advanced to the semifinals of the state 4A playoffs before falling to the eventual champions ... DHS also went 12-2 and reached the semifinals of the state playoffs his junior year, averaging better than 37 points per contest in the postseason as he was an all-area selection ... Helped the Tigers reach the 4A state championship game as a sophomore, as they finished that year 12-3 ... DHS also qualified for the state playoffs when he was a freshman ... Also earned four letters in track and two in wrestling.
