Credited with a mark of 84 percent in win over Missouri S&T and Lamar, collecting six knockdowns on 25 snaps before departing the game with the Cardinals ... As A Junior (2009): Earned the start at right tackle in each of the Jags’ first five contests before suffering an injury in practice that forced him to miss a game ... Appeared in six games overall, ranking second on the team with 53 knockdown blocks ... Had season-high totals with 83 percent grade and 12 pancake blocks — pacing USA in both categories — in Louisburg (N.C.) J.C. victory ... Matched that figure with a team-leading 12 knockdowns, earning a 72 percent mark, in season finale against Huntingdon (Ala.) College ... Graded out at 74 percent and posted nine pancakes in each of first two games, wins over Hargrave (Va.) Military Academy and Army Prep, leading the team in knockdowns in the latter contest ... Received a 76 percent grade while collecting six pancake blocks in Georgia Military J.C. victory.

Junior College Highlights (2007-08): Played two seasons at Tyler Junior College in Texas ... Earned all-conference honors as a sophomore, when he helped lead the Apaches to a 5-4 overall record and a 4-3 mark in the SJCFC — TJC was in contention for a berth in the playoffs until the final day of the regular season ... Also part of a squad that posted a 5-4 mark in 2007 as well.
