Jaguar Highlights: Makes the move to wide receiver after playing defensive back as a true freshman during the 2011 campaign.

Junior College Highlights (2012): Appeared in eight games at Arizona Western CC, posting a total of 15 stops and two interceptions ... Had season-best five tackles and picked off a pass he returned 30 yards in win over Pima CC ... Recorded an interception to go along with three stops in victory over New Mexico Military Institute, also making three tackles against Scottsdale CC ... Efforts helped the Matadors finish 8-2 and seventh in the final National Junior College Athletic Association rankings after a 42-37 defeat of Nassau CC in the El Toro Bowl.

As A Freshman (2011): Appeared in eight games, recording a pair of tackles ... Credited with a solo stop in a win over Henderson (Ark.) State, and made an assisted tackle in season finale against Cal Poly.

High School Highlights: A two-star recruit according to Scout.com ... Played quarterback in high school, leading Spanish Fort HS to the state 5A championship as a senior in his only year with the team ... Was named the Offensive Player of the Year by the Cellular South 1st & 10 Club after helping the Toros to a 13-2 finish ... Finished the season with 1,557 yards and 26 touchdowns on 161 rushes, completing 52-of-82 attempts for 723 yards and nine touchdowns as well ... In the Toros’ 14-0 victory over Briarwood Christian High in the state title contest, carried 37 times for 174 yards while scoring both touchdowns for SFHS on runs of nine and three yards to earn most valuable player honors ... Rushed for multiple touchdowns in four of the team’s five postseason games after reaching the end zone three times on three occasions, and accounted for four scores in victories over Hueytown HS in the quarterfinals and McAdory High in the semifinals the following week ...
