Jaguar Highlights: A first-team preseason all-Sun Belt Conference choice on the defensive line by Phil Steele Publications, Lindy’s Sports Annuals and Athlon Sports ... Should start at defensive end in his final season of eligibility ... Earned one of the program’s two High Academic Awards at the end of spring drills ... Only tackle for the Red team in the annual spring contest was for a loss of five yards.

As A Junior (2012): Started all 13 games at defensive end ... A second-team all-Sun Belt Conference selection, and was named second-team all-league by Phil Steele Publications and College Sports Madness as well ... Led USA’s defensive linemen with a career-best 64 stops, ranking fifth on the team overall ... Had school season-record six sacks and was second on the Jags with 11½ tackles for loss, ranking among the top 10 in the Sun Belt in both categories ... Had eight stops behind the line in eight league contests ... Recorded at least five tackles in six league games ... Became the first defensive lineman in school history to finish with a double-digit tackle total after making 10 stops in Florida Atlantic win, equaling that total against Middle Tennessee ...
