USA FOOTBALL TO TAKE PART IN "RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE" FRIDAY NIGHT

USA FOOTBALL TO TAKE PART IN

MOBILE, Ala. - Although spring practice for the University of South Alabama football program ended a month-and-a-half ago, it hasn't meant that the Jaguars ended their preparations for the upcoming 2010 season.  The results of their work since returning to campus from spring break will be on display this week as the semester comes to a close.

The "Rumble In The Jungle" will take place in the weight room at the football field house, beginning Friday at 7:30 p.m.  Admission to the event is free to the public.

The top performers from the spring will demonstrate their abilities in numerous lifts as part of the "Rumble In The Jungle," with the demonstration expected to last approximately an hour-and-a-half.  The night will showcase the abilities of 15 Jags in the weight room.

The Jaguars concluded their initial season of competition 7-0, outscoring the opposition 321-41 in the process.  USA will play seven home contests as part of its 2010 schedule, which includes a total of 10 games beginning Saturday, Sept. 4 when Pikeville (Ky.) visits Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
