If you are a full time student (min. 12 hours) at the University of South Alabama, or will be in the Fall of 2011, you need to meet the criteria below in order to attempt to walk-on to the football team. There will be no tryouts, eligible candidates should send video to:

If you are currently not enrolled at the University of South Alabama as a Full-Time Student:
* You must apply and be accepted to the University of South Alabama
* Once you have been accepted, proceed with the below instructions
* If you are not enrolled at USA, you will not be able to walk-on (per NCAA rules)
Potential Walk-On already a student at the University of South Alabama:
* You must be cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse (www.ncaaclearinghouse.net)
Potential Walk-On that is a graduating high school senior in May/June 2011:
* You must be cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse (www.ncaaclearinghouse.net)
* You must be accepted and enrolled at the University of South Alabama
Potential Walk-On enrolled at another four-year institution:
* You must have been cleared by NCAA Clearinghouse (www.ncaaclearinghouse.net)
* You fall under transfer rules set forth by the NCAA
* No member of the University of South Alabama Athletics Department may talk with you unless USA receives a release from your school (per NCAA rules)
