MOBILE, Ala. - The University of South Alabama Athletic Ticket Office announced Monday that it has a special offer for 2010 football season tickets that will be good through the end of December.
A special stocking stuffer is available for individuals who order tickets for the Jaguars' second season. The offer includes four sideline season tickets at $85 apiece - the same price as the program's initial campaign which concluded last month - as well as two free T-shirts.
The Jags went 7-0 in their first-ever season in the fall, scoring almost 46 points per outing while limiting the opposition to less than a touchdown per game. USA averaged more than 18,000 fans per contest at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, which included drawing nearly 27,000 in the program's debut on Sept. 5 against Hargrave (Va.) Military Academy as well as more than 23,000 for the season finale, a 35-0 victory over NCAA Division III Huntingdon (Ala.) College.
USA sold more than 8,800 season tickets in its inaugural year, a figure that ranks among the leaders in the Sun Belt Conference.
The Jaguars will face a schedule that includes all four-year schools next season, with six or seven games slated to be played at home.
