CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. ? University of South Alabama golfer Jonny Cladwell rebounded from his day one score of 73 with a solid one-under par 70 after day two of the NCAA East Regional, Friday. He is currently tied with 14 golfers in 49th place. The third and final round of the tournament continues on Saturday.
“Jonny's goal today was to put himself in position for tomorrow by getting back into red figures for the tournament,” head coach Ben Hannan said. “With two holes to play the chance was there, but unfortunately he bogied the last two holes.”
“Heading into tomorrow, everything has to be perfect,” Hannan added. “It has to be one of those special rounds. His low round in college golf is 65 and he'll have to shoot at least that for him to have a chance at moving on.”
