Opening comment on the game:
“That was a heck of a game ? a heck of a college division one basketball game. They [Arkansas] hit some big buckets at the end that won them the game. It’s unfortunate, because I thought we really played to win the game tonight. I’m proud of our guys, but some mental errors at the end of the game just cost us, and you can’t have them in a close game like that.”
On team’s preparation:
“I’m really proud of our guys coming back with one day of preparation against a good SEC team. Now, we’ve got one day of preparation and come back and play two more. I feel good that our guys have enough character about them to come back and win our tournament.”
On positives to take from the game:
“The biggest positive is the last game we played before this one was against a very good team. I thought that we came back tonight and got it together, and that’s what a good schedule is supposed to do ? get you better and better. And now, we should be pretty good. We’ve played a heck of a schedule.”
On Arkansas:
“I think they’re really well coached, they executed at the end, and they did what they had to do to win the game. They have two or three freshman that are going to be good for their program for years to come.”

“Overall, I thought our team played really good. We’ve got to use it as a building block to bounce back and win these next games.
